Oregon
Even the butterflies are bigger in Oregon! :)
trout for dinner!a trip to Mt. St. Helens 8 years after it's eruption. We kept hearing how it was growing back and wanted to see the destruction before it was unrecognizable.
Doesn't look like much growth to me!
It was a bit chilly up there. tim even found enough snow to make a snowball.
Dad hanging out with the kids again. Wish mom was able to go out with us more, too!
a really big tree---one of many in Oregon.
a neat old bridge on the middle Oregon coast.
future photographers---well, Angie ended up taking a big interest in photography and has quite the eye, as well as photoshop ability. Tim---he took the musical instrument route.
Not sure what they were planning to do with that tire, but they moved it somewhere.
We love the Oregon coast!
One of the few beaches in Oregon.
Always love going to the marina in Newport, too.

Angie's 1st communion.
her class4 generations of LaBeaumes
Angie taking up the flute. She had to go to a different school after school since her Catholic school didn't offer musical instruments. So she went to St. Thomas and performed in Catholic School music program and competitions with them for about 4 years.
Tim with the loot from one of his Lego competitions. His winning model was Epcot. He ingeniously came up with flags of many countries and had trees and people around them. Very unique and interesting.
Angie and her girl scout troop at a pumpkin patch.
Angie and her troop walking in the Valley of Flowers parade.

The gate at Grant's Farm---one time owned by Ulysses S. Grant. It is now owned by the Busch family, who owned the Anheuser-Busch Brewing Company for many years until it was sold to InBev in 2008. Grant's Farm has been an animal reserve for many years and is open to the public for free
I'm so envious of her hair!
she must have done something I didn't care for.
Thanksgiving---and one of the few time I actually put make up on!
Tim's 5th grade class
Tim's CYC volleyball team. I was the NAM CYC Volleyball coordinator. That was quite the fiasco! The boys actually did so well that more and more boys wanted to play the next year. I tried to divide them evenly and put them in different leagues, but some parents didn't like that. I was even going to coach both teams. Long story short, the NAM CYC board sided with the other parent so I said fine---you pick the teams and you coach the other team. In theory, I ended up with the trouble makers, but they did quite well in their A division. The other team---not so much. If I could have continued with this team through the years, they probably would have grown into a winning team.
Halloween----Angie went as a bride this year. Not sure what happened to Tim. He must have gone off with his friends.
Our picture from the annual LaBeaume Christmas Eve party that was held at our house for the first 25 or so years. After Ken's Mom went into a nursing home in Washington, Mo., the LaBeaume's in Washington started taking turns hosting the party. Fine with me----it really is a lot of work.
