our annual UE watermellon festival.  I really looked forward to them.  I remember going to it even when Tim was out of high school and they still enjoyed going.

Another of my favorite photos of Angie.  This was taken in Oregon at the Peters' farm.  David and I use to play at the Peters' farm all the time when we were little kids.  It was nice going back and visiting with them again, even though we hadn't seen them in over 20 years.

I love how the kids were never uncomfortable around Mom.  They loved crawling up on her hospital bed and giving her kisses.

Ken and David use to go up into the mountains and go trout fishing. 

I love how kids can entertain themselves with just about anything.  Even an empty milk carton  to put rocks in.

I love all the wild flowers all over Oregon in the summer.

I loved getting the "Wish book" from Sears.  The kids would spend hours looking through it.  Sometimes they would even circle things they wanted.  Wonder if they still make Wish books?

There's that clown outfit again----3rd year in a row, I think.  The last 2 Tim wore it.  This year Tim was a witch using Ken's wind breaker jacket turned backwards.  This must have been for Tim's pre-school party.

Ken had a convention at Lake of the Ozarks, so we went with him.  We even ended up buying a piece of land at Lodge of the 4 Seasons.  Hung onto it for about 20 years before we finally had to give it away to get out from under the taxes, water bills, and such.  We had hopes of building a vacation home there, but that didn't happen.
