This was the summer we took Ken's 2 youngest brothers to brothers to Oregon with us. Since we drove, we stopped in Colorado along the way.
The 4 of us are in the front 2 seats of the Manitou Incline.
Here's ken holding up the balancing rock in Garden of the Gods near Colorado Springs.

Love Oregon nature!
Bill after he fell in the fish ladder. I never saw anyone get back out of the water that fast!

One of our regular activities in Oregon---big family bar b qs in Mom and Dad's back yard. Boy we looked so young then!
We usually tried to go and celebrate our anniversaries together, too. Ours is June 20th
and Mom and Dad's was June 23rd.
Back in St. Louis, I always cooked a big Thanksgiving dinner. All the other brothers went to their inlaws for Thanksgiving, so MaryAnn didn't cook. Sometimes she'd join us. But for about the first 20 years of our married life, I cooked Thanksgiving. I was happy to turn it over to the "girls" when they became adults. But as of now---they weren't even born yet.
